1. The service
DocFit is a GitHub App that reads merged pull requests and related tickets, edits the documentation pages they affect, verifies the result and opens a pull request in your repository. DocFit never merges anything on its own; your team reviews every change.
2. Your account and workspace
You sign in with GitHub. The first person to sign in from an organisation becomes the workspace admin and can invite others. You are responsible for who you invite and for the repositories you enable.
3. Acceptable use
Use DocFit only on repositories you are entitled to modify. Do not use it to process content you do not have the right to share with a documentation tool, and do not attempt to make it write outside the documentation folder of your repository.
4. Plans and fees
During the design-partner period every workspace runs on the Team plan at no charge. Paid plans, their monthly limits and overage pricing are shown on the Plans and billing page before any charge applies.
5. Your content and our output
Your code, docs and tickets remain yours. The documentation changes DocFit produces are delivered as pull requests in your repository and belong to you. DocFit may keep diffs, run logs and documentation embeddings for the retention period you choose, and uses them only to operate and improve the service for your workspace.
6. Availability and liability
DocFit is provided as is during the design-partner period, without uptime guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, DocFit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding three months.
7. Ending the agreement
You can delete your workspace at any time from Settings; data is purged 30 days later. Uninstalling the GitHub App stops all processing immediately.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms: use the channel shared with your workspace during onboarding, or reply to any DocFit email.
